The De Wolden Summer Sale 2026 can look back on a highly successful event. On the beautiful grounds of CSI De Wolden in Veeningen, buyers, breeders and visitors enjoyed an atmospheric auction evening. Auctioneer Koen Olaerts presented and auctioned the collection with great expertise.
The highest price of the evening was paid for Whizztone (Baltic x Corland). The striking colt was sold for €22,000 to a buyer from the United States.
The other top prices also underline the quality of the collection:
- Wildrose van de Vijfhoeve (Baltic x Balou du Reventon) – €18,000 – Norway
- Warlande Gun (Boston x Elmshorn) – €16,000 – United States
- Wise Guy T (Faltic HB x Indoctro) – €15,000 – United States
- Wesley (Grand Slam VDL x Eldorado van de Zeshoek) – €13,000 – Netherlands
- Elliot Z (Emerald van 't Ruytershof x Mr. Blue) – €13,000 – Italy
- Wilhelmus K.L. (Mindset ES x Zirocco Blue VDL) – €13,000 – Netherlands
The foals found buyers from across the globe. In addition to various Dutch buyers, foals were sold to the United States, Italy, Norway and Mexico. In total, five foals are heading to the United States, two to Italy, one to Norway and one to Mexico.
With an average selling price of €11,429, the organisers can look back on a successful event. In recent years, the De Wolden Summer Sale has established itself as a fixture on the auction calendar. Each year, a carefully selected collection of show-jumping-bred foals is offered for sale at the auction, held at the unique venue of CSI De Wolden.
