During today's KWPN Studbook Inspection in Harich, VDL Stud's three-year-old jumping mares delivered an excellent performance. All 15 mares presented by VDL Stud were awarded the Ster predicate, with three mares standing out by receiving the exceptional score of 90 points for free jumping.
Carla PB Z (Carrera x Quaprice), bred by P. Bastiaansen, received 80 points for conformation and 90 points for free jumping.
Tiabanda VDL (Zirocco Blue x Argentinus) also impressed the inspection committee with her exceptional jumping ability. She was awarded 85 points for conformation and 90 points for free jumping, the highest conformation score among the VDL collection.
The third mare to receive 90 points for free jumping was Ticella VDL (Baltic x Cento), who combined her excellent jumping talent with 80 points for conformation.

In the championship judging, Tiabanda VDL was crowned Champion, while Ticella VDL was named Reserve Champion. Tiabanda VDL is bred out of the famous Grand Prix mare Banda de Hus, while Ticella VDL is a daughter of the Grand Prix mare Cella.
The mares Carla PB Z, Tiabanda VDL, Ticella VDL, Astra Kattenheye Donkhoeve, Sufrieda VDL, Zefandria VDL, Tanda VDL, Techerry VDL and Cupardi VDL all qualified for the KWPN National Mare Championship (National Mare Inspection).
Also earning an invitation to the National Mare Championship was Tori A (For Friendship x Baltic), bred by J. Boorsma of Nijeholtwolde and co-owned by S. Zwarteveen, after receiving a score of 75/85.
