Karonia L (Harley VDL x Ramiro) claimed victory in the prestigious CSI4 AL SHIRA'AA Grand Prix de la Ville de Chantilly* under Portuguese rider Rodrigo Giesteira Almeida. The pair produced two faultless rounds and stopped the clock in the jump-off at 43.40 seconds, securing the win. Karonia L is a KWPN mare bred by Th. Lemmers of Baexem, the Netherlands.
Gangster WW (Grand Slam VDL x Kannan) also delivered an excellent performance in Chantilly. Ridden by New Zealand's Luke Dee, Gangster WW finished in an impressive second place in the CSI4 1.50m Big Tour qualifier*. Bred by Wilhelm Winkeler of Germany, the gelding jumped a clear round and crossed the finish line in 69.12 seconds.
