Jourdain VDL (Zapatero VDL x Darco) delivered a strong performance by finishing 4th in the 4* Grand Prix of Valencia (1.55m)**. The gelding, previously successfully competed by Jur Vrieling, was now ridden by Spanish rider Carlos Lopez-Fanjul Tartiere, jumping double clear with a time of 46.63 seconds in the jump-off.

Jourdain VDL was bred by us out of the Darco mare Alba VDL and is a half-brother to the also Grand Prix-level performer Equine America Harwich VDL. In addition, our promising stallion Night Life VDL is closely related to these two top showjumpers — a powerful bloodline full of sport talent.
