A fantastic achievement for Comthago VDL at Indoor Friesland! During the 3* competition in Leeuwarden, Comthago VDL, ridden by Hessel Hoekstra, completed two superb clear rounds in the 1.55m Grand Prix, finishing in an excellent 4th place.
Our 7-year-old stallions also made their mark. McAllister, ridden by Jur Vrieling, earned both a 4th and a 9th place in the 1.40m. Mindset ES delivered a beautiful clear round with Alex David Gill.
In the 1* Grand Prix, Jetoulon PK, the Etoulon son ridden by Yfke Priem, finished 4th. Congratulations to owners Albert van Unen and Rodinde Hoogenraad!
Marriet Smit-Hoekstra also stood out with the young Zirocco Blue mare Wadro’s Maggie May, bred by Bart Henstra. She placed three times: twice in 2nd and once in 6th in the 1.40m.
In the final of the 1.25m small tour, Noble Ami (Comthago x Montreal) ridden by Jessie Wiefferink and Lucifer (Cohinoor x Zirocco Blue) ridden by Kristy Snepvangers shared first place. Great results as well for Lookalike B (Glenfiddich x Silverstone), who finished 3rd with Yfke Priem, and for Leomar (Cohinoor x Numero Uno), who took 4th place ridden by Britt Wiefferink.
