Good Fellow has the best bloodlines from France in his pedigree in both the sire and dam lines. Sire, Baloubet du Rouet and grand sire, Jalisco B were successful Olympic show jumpers and dominated the World Rankings for years. They produced top progeny like Chaman, Bubalu VDL, Quidam de Revel, Rochet M, etc. Uriel is sire of many influential broodmares such as Mine Rouge, Mayflower II and Gazelle d’Elle. Rantzau xx is known as the sire of the notable hero of Holstein - Cor de la Bryere.
Good Fellow’s dam, Eolysca, jumped at 1.40m level as well as his grand dam, Theo. The latter brought the international show jumpers Gin Tonic Star, Kire Royale Star and Benjamin Thomas - all by different stallions. Great-grand dam Grand Coeur jumped at Grand Prix level with Michel Robert. Also from this line come the Grand Prix show jumpers Amande du Château, Ernest, Etoile du Château, Monark and the living legend: Itot du Château!
Good Fellow is a stallion with blood and youth. He is light-footed, athletic and very careful. With a score of 75 points he passed the KWPN Stallion Test. He received an 8 for scope and a 7.5 for reflexes, technique, rideability, attitude and talent as a jumper. Good Fellow needs time to develop, but has many fine qualities. He will be allowed that time and we expect to be rewarded.
His first crop of foals are foals with length and blood, they are light-footed in their movements.
