During the prestigious CSI5* Grand Prix Hermès in Paris on 22 March 2026, the talented pair of Island VG (by Zirocco Blue) and rider Geir Gulliksen (NOR) put in an impressive performance at the highest level.
In a highly competitive 1.60m class, the offspring of Zirocco Blue managed to remain clear in the first round. This ultimately resulted in a sixth place after the jump-off. The performance earned a handsome prize of €20,000 on the international stage. Island VG was bred by J. van Gestel from Hilvarenbeek, and with this result confirms the strength of Dutch breeding at the highest level of show jumping.
