On Tuesday, the final of the De Wolden Cup took place at CH De Wolden for 4-year-olds. Robin's Angel (by Zirocco Blue) with Kim Gudmundsson appeared at the start. The duo impressed the jury with a beautiful clear round. The Zirocco Blue daughter is bred by Parsky & VDL Stud. The pair had already achieved good results throughout the competition. Fifth place went to Rapidus TK (by Liamant) and Daphne van den Berg. The Liamant son is bred by J. ten Kate.
No fewer than three VDL offspring appeared in the ring for the prize-giving ceremony at the 5-year-old class. Porsche (by Hardrock) came second with Roel Harke. The son of Hardrock is bred by A. van Ittersum. Picasso M. A son of Cohinoor bred by H. Meijers-Slagter, finished in a respectable 4th place. Picasso M (by Cohinoor) was presented by Leonie Meijerink. Fifth place went to Piccobello FL (by Comthago) and Frits Leenders. Frits is not only the rider but also the breeder of the Comthago son.
