Jup (by Carrera) wins the Grand Prix of Opglabbeek with Mariano Martinez Bastida last Sunday. The Carrera son bred by G.L. Hoksbergen, he is out of the Ster, Prestatie mare Whoopy (by Silverstone). The duo has already raised almost €30,000 in prize money this year.
Kazelli VDL the Arezzo son bred by VDL Stud proved to be in top form last weekend in Opglabbeek. Together with Harry Allen, the duo managed to win the 1.45m class on both Sunday and Thursday.
There was also success for the Arezzo daughter Lynette NH. Together with Nicole Caris, Lynette NH (by Arezzo) managed to win the 7- & 8-year-old class on Thursday. With more than a second difference on number 2, the mare bred by A.L.J. Hendriks turned out to be the clear winner.
