On Saturday, the Nations Cup took place in Ocala. Ilex (by Baltic) appeared at the start for the United States of America with McLain Ward. The duo stayed clear in both rounds and set the fastest time in the second round. Thanks to this result they managed to claim victory. The Baltic son is bred by G. Maris and has now won over €750,000 prize money.
In the 2* 1.45m Grand Prix of Ocala, Steely Dan (by Hardrock) managed to qualify for the jump-off and finished in a nice fifth place. Together with Henrik von Eckermann, the Gerd Wauters-bred Hardrock son also managed to secure third place on Saturday.
