Fourth place for VDL Kelton (by Bubalu) in the 1.55m Grand Prix at Eindhoven

During the international show in Eindhoven, several VDL offspring made a strong impression with victories and top placings in both the young horse classes and at Grand Prix level.

In the closing CSI3* Grand Prix of Eindhoven, held during the Wim van der Leegte Memorial, VDL Kelton (by Bubalu) jumped to an impressive fourth place under Belgian rider Annelies Vorsselmans. The pair recorded two clear rounds and a fast jump-off in 46.16 seconds. The KWPN horse is bred by VDL Stud & Y. Walda.

Larsson (by Grand Slam) also secured a placing in this 1.55m class. Ridden by Enrico van Manen, the KWPN horse finished ninth. Larsson is bred by A.W.J.M. van Erp.

Earlier in the competition, Gangster WW (by Grand Slam) had already secured a strong result in the 1.50m Grand Prix qualifier. Ridden by New Zealander Luke Dee, the stallion jumped to an excellent second place thanks to two clear rounds. W. Winkeler is the breeder of the Grand Slam son.

In the Small Tour over 1.40m, Novacific Eickenrode (by Baltic) jumped to a fine second place with Hessel Hoekstra. The pair remained clear and clocked a fast time of 30.70 seconds. J. & A.E.A. van der Waaij bred the Baltic daughter.

There was a Belgian victory in the 1.35m Big Tour thanks to Kinetta (by Freeman). Ridden by Guido Hornesch, the Freeman daughter bred by J.H. Diepman completed a clear round and raced to victory in 26.78 seconds. The pair had also secured second place the day before.

There was also success for a VDL-bred horse in the young horse category. In the CSIYH class for seven-year-olds, victory went to On And On MB (by Baltic) with Rob Heijligers. The pair recorded a clear round in 31.79 seconds, securing the win. M. Bierings is the breeder of the Baltic son.

With victories, podium places and strong Grand Prix results, the VDL stallions have once again demonstrated their worth at the highest international level.
