WELLINGTON - Cartello VDL (by Cartani x Lord) and Lorcan Gallagher (USA) have achieved a nice fifth place in the 5* Grand Prix of Wellington. Eddie Blue (by Zirocco Blue x Marlon) and Devin Ryan (USA) finished in sixth place.

Cartello VDL was, just like Cardento 'Elite', bred out of the mare B-Estelle. Breeder is Witt Pferdezucht Gbr, Wellinghusen (GER). The horse was sold by the VDL Stud a few years ago and has been very successful in the USA ever since. Cartello VDL was recently 2nd in the 1.50m American Gold Cup Qualifier of Traverse City, Michigan and third in the Grand Prix of Tryon.

Eddie Blue and Devin Ryan (USA) finished in sixth place. Breeder of the also successful Eddie Blue is J. Honcoop.

Katanga v/h Dingeshof (v. Cardento x Tornado) and Nicola Philippaerts (BEL) finished in ninth place. This horse was bred by Liliane Vermeulen.
