SJARJAH - There were big successes for Arezzo offspring last weekend. Notable were the results in Sharjah (UAE), where Julius D (Arezzo VDL x Emilion), under the saddle of Emanuele Gaudiano (ITA), impressed again.
The nine-year-old gelding, bred by H. v. Dael, Kelpen-Oler (NED), was skilfully ridden by his rider to first place in the CSI5*-W competition over 1.45m and second place in CSI5*-W competition over 1.55m. There was also a third listing for Julius D and Gaudiano in the 1.45m.
The CSI3* competition in San Giovanni in Marignano (ITA) gave nine-year-old Jeetje (Arezzo VDL x Animo) and Jessica Cirabisi (ITA) a first and a second place in the 1.30 and 1.35m classes. E. Enzerink (NED) bred Jeetje.
Achtung Asborne Z (Arezzo x Asca Z), bred by Bvba Asborne (BEL), came first and second in Oliva - Valencia (ESP). The CSI1* courses over 1.25 and 1.30m therefore gave this combination no problem.
Kalvados Keros (Arezzo x Ideal de la Loge) and Belgian rider Seppe Wouters won the CSI1* 1.40m class in Oliva - Valencia (ESP). Kalvados Keros was bred by Keros NV (BEL).
K-Carla, sold by VDL Stud during the The WEF Sport Horse Auction 2016 as VDL G-Carla HBF (Arezzo x Original x VDL Corland), won the 1.40m Jumper - class in Ocala (USA).
