WINSCHOTEN - the Groningen studbook inspection meant a great success for two offspring of Arezzo VDL and Dallas VDL. Both mares received 85 points for jumping and 80 points for the type.
Linderella (Arezzo VDL from Ginderella keur IBOP-spr from Indoctro) was bred by Arend van Ittersum and the VDL Stud. Lacinda-Herma (by Dallas VDL) was bred by W. Stienstra from Opende and is owned by Menko and Elsa Jongeling.
Inspector Bart Henstra explained his appreciation:
“The Arezzo VDL mare is a large-frame mare of 1.69 m with a sharp model and appealing front. She gallops actively and with a lot of balance. When jumping she showed a very constant performance; every jump she is up quickly, she stoops well and she keeps a good overview. In addition, she is sufficiently loose in the body and shows athletic ability.
The Dallas VDL daughter is a youthful, charming mare with blood and a hard foundation. Her canter is wide enough and she has a lot of dedication when jumping, is up fast and jumps with a lot of impressions. This Lacinda-Herma sometimes has its peak a bit far behind, but it does it all with great ease and also seems to have a lot of power .”
Two other mares received the star predicate: Lenthe-D (by Bubalu VDL), breeders S.J. Dijkema and E. Dijkema and Levive BMH (by Dallas), who was bred by W. van der Bij.
